Body Politic

I sit and ponder Man’s mortality,
On Life, on The Void, on Demand Modality.
I marshal my intellectual forces – a motley crew!
What, oh what, would Nietzsche do?

I try to plot a course of action.
I splinter into a thousand factions.
Now I’m first person plural. Each ideology is a part of us.
My kidney’s Social Democrat. My spleen’s Young Spartacus.

It cannot work.
There is no way.
My body politic
Is in disarray.

I evaluate myself to make a choice.
I must unify, must have one voice.
I examine each part. I select it all!
I think I am dialectical.
